Depression can be situations or bio-chemical. Situational depression is related to some specific situation, event, and people but there is no specific reason for bio-chemical depression. Depression causes and symptoms:-
There are various different reasons behind depression but if we want to point out the root cause of depression it will be the imbalance in the neurotransmitters (chemical messengers in the brain by which nerve cells communicate with each other). The main three neurotransmitters that keep a brain happy are Serotonin, Nor epinephrine, and Dopamine. Imbalance in any of these hormones will be the trigger point of depression.
Recent studies also tell that sometimes causes of depression may be genetic. If anyone finds any five signs given bellow, through 2 to 3 weeks, it can be said that he/she is in depression.
Other diseases/health issues due to depression:-
Depression is linked to other mental as well as physical diseases. Mental illness such as phobia, anxiety disorder, panic disorder, OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD or post traumatic stress disorder and eating disorder can be developed from depression. Other diseases such as, coronary artery disease, cardio vascular disease, diabetes, arthritis, kidney disease, Parkinson’s disease can be developed from depression. Other than this obesity, head ache, fatigue, low sex drive, insomnia these are some other health issues that occur due to depression.

After marriage depression:-
After marriage depression is very common in woman. It is documented that a woman faces major depression in her life about twice as often as men.
